Star Pens Novel
Superstar memoirs are a dime a dozen these days, but supermodel-turned-TV personality Tyra Banks is transforming a somewhat uncommon organization: celebs who have turn into writers.
Banks, 36, has now finalised a 3-book agreement with Random House. The series of stories, named “Modelland,” will be designed for young adults. The sequence will introduce models with unusual features, though Banks has said some characters might be structured on individuals she has learned.
While it is uncommon for celebs to pen works of fiction, it is far from unheard of. One little-known superstar author is Bill O’Reilly — that’s right, the gentleman from Fox News — who in 1998 published a murder novel called “Those Who Trespass.” Another is musician Jimmy Buffett, who in 2004 published an American westerner titled, “A Salty Piece of Land.”
We wish best wishes for Tyra Banks in this new adventure.
