Mr Singh Mrs Mehta is a Hindi Film based on Indian couple based in Loondon. The main cast is done by Prashant Narayanan, Aruna Shields, Naved Aslam, Lucy Hassan.

Bollywood in the past decades did seem to have been slowly shed its conservative approach but Aruna Shields seems to have broken all the barriers. Going bold and baring all, Aruna Shields is the most talked about pretty young thing in the entertainment fraternity. Aruna stress that nudity is not highlighted in the film. There is nude scenes in the movie but is shot from sideways, or pixeled out.

Extramarital affairs are like accidents that you keep reading about in the newspapers. You will get shocked when it happens to you. It is a take on four dramatic characters. Mrs. Singh (Aruna Shields), an agony aunt columnist, is obviously agonized upon discovering her husband’s infidelity. Mr. Singh (Naved Aslam) and Mrs. Mehta (Lucy Hassan) are having an extra-marital affair, despite being ostensibly happy with their respective marriages. His wife however has full faith in Ashwin’s talent that one day he will be a very rich and famous painter. This causes Mrs. Singh (Aruna Shields) and Mr. Mehta (Prashant Narayanan) to be drawn to each other and seek comfort in each other’s company.

Ashwin is an upcoming painter, however she is living his life own his wife. This puts him in a spot.

Considering that Bollywood has so few adult films to offer, this one’s a rare experience. is it a case of crisscrossed adultery, an unintentional spouse swapping. Director has approached the subject with maturity and causoin, this makes the film a good one. Director Pravesh made sure that there were very minimal crew members are present while shooting the nude scenes. The film is filled with kissing and nude scence. Though Aruna Shields was cool about being in her birthday suit, it was Prashant who kept fumbling and fluffing. The movie is not meant to titillate anyone so there were no vulgar scenes. Every shot is done very aesthetically.

The film is a refreshing walk off the beaten Bollywood track and scores on its minimalist approach to matrimonial discord.
